UCLA lands Lucien

WR is a position of need from a numbers standpoint as well as from a production standpoint. Lucien appears to be a more refined version of Marvray and he should compete for playing time next season.

There were alot of other crucial areas that needed this level of player which did not happen. One get and alot of no gets is not really anything to get too excited about - especially when USC handed UCLA a golden opportunity to do some good things in the recruiting game.

Sorry, but I can't help but think that Neuheisel failed to recognize an open door had his name written all over it - he may have seen it but could not find a way to get through it. What's disturbing more than anything else is that he set the bar last and the year before at a level that was high, and at a level that he was able to achieve. For whatever reason(s) he couldn't get there this year, but it was something we expected and something that should have been very easily attainable IF he is all that he is leading us to believe that he is - the right man to lead UCLA Football.

Make no sense to gripe about it. All we can do is to sit and see what happens. Maybe set our expectation a little bit lower and hope for the best.

We as UCLA fans should continue to support our team for the players' sake and thank all of them for choosing UCLA.
