  • JC

Word on the street is that Josh Smith is under 300lbs, any truth to this being true???

  • JC

I know this is your blog, but have you thought about having a word limit on questions??? Instead of having a paragraph being submitted full of questions.

  • JC

    Jon,
Now that you’ve gone Hollywood will you have more time to answer questions? It seems that the Bruins are far ahead of last year in football recruiting;does this reflect the work of the new coaches?

  • Phil Morse

    Jon,
Are you planning to do football or basketball podcasts this upcoming season?

  • orangecountybruin

    Jon,

Put on your prognosticator’s hat and tell me who you think the next big basketball commit will be to our program.

So which of the players, eyeballwise, have worked out the hardest this year and which of the first and second year player appear ready to step up? And btw, die you decide to move to Hollywood because of what’s going up at the corner of Highland and Sunset?

after last our camps last summer, the one kid you raved about was Devin Lucien and said that we need to offer him ASAP (and stood by that all season, so props to you on that)… my question is who is the ‘Devin Lucien’ of this summer?

Jon: I didn’t realize until the NBA draft that the Nuggets 1st rd. pick, rebounding-machine Kenneth Faried, is only 6-7, 225. You’ve talked of him learning more of the “3″ spot, but I say, why? With the Wears coming in for “3″ support, and Reeves, at 6-7, 6-8 maybe 240 this year and coming off a double-double avg. season, why mess with his success at the “4″ ??? (Remember his domination of Derrick Williams at home?) I know there’s mental/emotional maturing in progress, but what’s to think he couldn’t clean up even more inside this year AND be an NBA prospect at the “4″ in 2 more years w/his banging, blue-collar work ethic?

  • ucla-of-the-rockies

Sorry Jon, previous question was about Reeves and your thoughts on him staying at the “4″ … was using Faried as a comparison example. thx u high Hollywood roller, you …

How many more years are we will going to blame Karl Dorrell? Funny how CRN and Chow don’t get enough criticism, but would be different their last names were different?

Jon, you often states that this season success (or not) is directly linked to Prince’s health.. do you really think Brehaut is not capable of guidind the team to a good season?

hey john,,,why doesn’t a representative of UCLA question Jrue about his stay at UCLA. Why do I always have to read it from some remote or biased source. Can’t you UCLA media guys get Jrue in for a q&a.

And if you do, ask him why he expected to play pg over Collison when DC was an unexpected returning AA,,,if that’s Jrue’s gripe.

  • KennyJ

You replied to my question in regards to ESPN recruiting being bogus information. What’s a better source Scout or Rivals?

  • Cheat On!

A Chic-fil-A is going up at Highland and Sunset and yes I was talking about football. Thanks for the answer. usc sanctions haven’t really affected their recruiting. Why hasn’t it and when will it start to affect their program? And when will this new scandal at Oregon start to affect it’s program.

Did you know the Daily News UCLA coverage link on the side takes you to the front page and not the UCLA page?
