Along the same lines of a previous comment, can you shortern your questions? Sometimes it seems like you give them the answer to your question, within your question. One of your questions was 30 seconds long.
I don't want to over-lawyer this, but your questions are more statements. I am very thankful for the video interviews, but please please please let the kids speak and don't become the story... You really need to map out your questions... over 1/2 of the interview is you making statements instead of asking questions.
i'm honestly chuckling from the comments written SMH
jon, great job, i love your enthusiasm for your job even if your questions are unique.

If you were a lawyer you would be guilty of leading the witness. For long questions to guided safe answers.
Love the interviews!
Hey, Mr. Gold is a journalist, not a radio or t.v. personality.
It is hard to be extemporaneous and think on your feet, and that is why they are so many posters on blogs, because they can take their time poisoning their words, and would be killed if they ever dared tried stand-up comedy.
Well, my interviewing style has helped win me an Associated Press Sports Editor award, a first-place prize in column writing from the Nevada Press Association, a Los Angeles Press Club first-place sports story of the year award and a California Newspaper Association sports story of the year honorable mention in four years. I guess I'm doing something right. But, please, more feedback.
If young Kendricks can lay out RBs like his surname sameness laid down the funk...then UCLA has something.

Listen long enough (after 2:40) to hear probably the only time in sould music that vibes lay down the groove. One the the best Motown songs I never produced.
If this is the real Smokey Robinson, big fan.
