Good news, Bad news on Prince

| | Comments (3) |

Rick Neuheisel said in his conference call with the media that junior quarterback Kevin Prince has a sprained shoulder and his timetable is unknown, but that his concussion has cleared and he will go through the protocol. His status for Saturday's game against San Jose State in the Rose Bowl is undetermined, but it looks like Richard Brehaut will get the start.

Kevin has the heart if a lion! He will always be a Bruin. However, ever since he took that shot on the chin against Tennessee he has never been the same. I think someone should really talk to him about retiring b4 he really gets hurt. Best of wishes and god bless Kevin!

The way RB played, hopefully the silver lining is we have a clear #1 getting the reps in practice, and Hundley will get a decent shot if the game warrants it.

I feel awful for Prince, who works so hard and gives us his all but can't seem to stay healthy. However, I believe a healthy Brehaut deserves to start and show us what he has. We saw a glimpse at Houston, and it looked promising.
