Football presser update
Rick Neuheisel said Jerry Rice Jr., Jerry Johnson have an opportunity to see time at reciever this Saturday. Jordan James should see time outside Saturday against Cal.
``(Rice) has been chomping at the bit to play,'' Neuheisel said. ``We've got other ways we can play 11-man football. We'll use all of them.''
Neuheisel said he wasn't sure if QB Brett Hundley would play against the Bears, but he said he wasn't 100 percent ready to play at Arizona. That doesn't preclude that he couldn't be ready for Cal this weekend.
Can't believe that Rick's still using the "he wasn't 100% ready to play" line. Who on this team IS 100% ready? Prince certainly isn't. The defense certainly isn't. Marsh is ready to fight, but not play. Maybe Big Joe is 100% ready, but they don't like to get him the ball very often so what does it matter? The only thing I'm 100% ready for is a new coach.
As a last-ditch stand to save his job, Coach Rick will burn Hundley's red shirt, thus limiting Hundley's value to the next coach. Very selfish on your part, Coach Rick.
This week against Cal is going to be an interesting game.

Rick also said, "I'm not sure if I am ready to coach because I really don't know. It will be game-time decision". God, just resign already. Why can't we get rid of this guy?
Very unlikely, but still not out of the Pac-12 south race, the Pac-12 championship race, and the Rose Bowl race and that is why you don't fire the guy and that is why you keep trying. Only one game behind Arizona State and the Bruins still play them. Things don't look good but it's far from over.
