Hungry Arizona team with a deceptive 0-5 record, playing at home on espn with a new coach--this is a trap game. I hope UCLA is prepared.

Have a feeling Arizona is going to come out firing. But in the end they're still the same 0-5 team. Now even Neu can coach his way out of a win here.

Hope I'm wrong too (I usually am). By the way, does anyone know the spread?

Dan Guerrero waits, finds that no one else is going to do it, and promptly pats himself on the back. Then plans next ESPN radio interview to downgrade Rick's job status as slightly less day-by-day-y.

Since Arizona doesn't have a running game UCLA will concentrate on stopping N. Foles while letting Arizona RBs burn them for long runs and Tresey will stubbornly refused to adjust his game plan. I predict Arizona will gash UCLA for 200+ yards on the ground.

Arizona by 4.

defense bends but doesn't break very often - UCLA wins in a route: 42-24

Bend don't break might be a good strategy in this game.
Spread offenses have a hard time working in the red zone.
I think this could be an advantage for us.

Vegas has Zona by 4. I'll take UCLA in that bet any day. They are going to win on Thursday.

Pro teams are usually invigorated by new coaching but college programs don't seem to recover as well. Seems like players are bummed the coach that recruited them is no longer on the sidelines or in the same capacity.

I think Zona comes out flat and the UCLA run game keeps Foles off the field with the UCLA defense having a solid day, especially if Price is effective.

UCLA 31 - Arizona 21

GO BRUINS!!!!

Neuheisal opens with Hundley and he takes it down the field for 7. He ends up scoring another in the second half, plus Prince throws for two in a Bruin rout.

And Brett Hundley will finally see action before many family & friends and he will not disappoint as he will run 5 times for 57 yards, and a score and complete 4 of 5 passes.

Yikes! I just awoke from the worst nightmare of my UCLA-lovin' life ... I dreamed we were down, like, 42-7 at the half? We even participated in a full bench-clearing brawl! John Wooden even rolled over in his grave!

(OK, the last part was made up ... but I'll go with the final score of my nightmare)
