UCLA 24-14

| | Comments (5) |

The opportunistic UCLA defense struck once more.
So did the Bruin offense.

After Tevin McDonald picked up his second interception of the game at the Cal 20-yard line, Derrick Coleman immediately followed with a 20-yard touchdown run, giving the Bruins some cushion once more.

Drive Time: 20 yards, 1 play, six seconds

Funny how there are no comments after an impressive win. It's as if ucla "fans" want ucla to lose and blame it all on neuheisel. Well, I guess after an asu loss, all the "fans" will come back to the chartrooms, and they can get back on the fire neuheisel campaign. If ucla beats utah and colorado and gets into a bowl game, will the ucla "fans" root for ucla?

Good win--it was a step in the right direction.
A win next week would be a huge step up. Come on RN--rage against the dying of the light!!!

Now if we could only play a team that gives up 5 turnovers every weekend ... but we won't. Also, 6 wins makes us bowl eligible. It doesn't mean we'll go to a bowl game. We lucked out when we went to a bowl game a couple of years ago.

Fellow Anonymice,

I can't speak for others, but though I'm happy for this win, past experience has taught me to refrain from getting my hopes up.
