Coleman named All-Pac-12 second-team, four named honorable mention

Rarely does a team with a chance for a conference title have just one member on the all-conference first- or second-team.

But Derrick Coleman, named to the second team as a special teams player, was the lone UCLA representative, as announced Monday.

Johnathan Franklin, Andrew Abbott, Kai Maiava and Nelson Rosario were named honorable mention selections for the Bruins, who play at Autzen Stadium on Friday night against the Oregon Ducks.

Rarely does a team with a chance for a conference title show up with a chance to play themselves out of a bowl game. The Bruins are trailblazers when it comes to mediocrity = success.

Sports fans are the worst human beings on earth. Period

Perhaps two or three posters felt sorry for Neuheisel.

But this is Los Angeles, a big city, where compassion is practically non-existent.

But, heck, we could be in Philadelphia, where the sports fans of brotherly love were chanting the firing of their coach yesterday. At least the bruins did not get down to that level, or is that because they didn’t think of it?
