Yeah, good articles. Vinnie's should be require reading for all the whiners, loafers and layabouts who are always bitching about our overly slow return to prominence.
Finally, an analysis that's "spot on" as to what had been ailing our program...I really believed that if CNR & CNC had the talent at their disposal, they would have made a great run. But as Vinnie so eloquently put it, it just was not meant to the be...Hypothetically speaking if the Chow experiment had worked, UCLA would most likely be competing for those recruits (w/ So Cal) who dream to play for a program that sets them up to succeed at the next level. Kids dream about playing professionally...and pro-style mindsets (offensively) will draw those kind of recruits. That being said, I think we can turn the corner with the pistol. We'll just have to recruit multiple (pistol-suited, i.e., Colin Koepernick) QBs each class so we have some insurance @ the that position. It's such a high risk offense with regard to QB injuries.
