The New Uniforms

It would have been better to wear our regular home uniforms and save these for the Pac 12 title game.

They haven't even played yet and USC has already got the blue scared right out of UCLA.

Like 'Em. New uni combos will be fun.

Why not debut this next week in Eugene? That would have been perfect. I don't mind gimmicks, but screwing with all of this tradition? Giving up on the powder keg blue on a day that we need all the mojo we can get?

I actually think the new uniforms look nice. However I would not have debuted them against SC. It's alright to play with an alternate uniform once a season, so don't have a cow about it Bruins and lurking Toejams.

Guess I am the only one that thinks these unis look SICK. I understand tradition and the stripe over the shoulder, but it was time for a change. College football now is about swag and these look GOOD. The numbers are nice and large with a classic font and the stripe on the side of the bottoms looks great.

I LOVE 'EM!...i am from the 'old school' and i think it's about time we changed things up around UCLA...and why not against the torgans?...i think the players will be so hot to show them off when they come through that tunnel at the Coliseum, that the energy will be flowing...and renewed...face it we are not favored to win anyway so why not steel some thunder from barkley and friends if we can...AND YES WE CAN!

Agree that these should have been saved for title game, not vs trojies. It took so long to bring back home jerseys for the game that we now throwing it away for marketing ploy. Perhaps it is time to evaluate entrie athletic dept.

I like them. Nice and simple. I like the enlarged numbers and the stripes on the undergear. I think they are going to look nice on the field. Hope the Bruins don't focus on the look, but focus on the game. Keep'em.

It's not that bad, Oregon wears what appears to be scales on their shoulders and Stanford runs around like a cluster of demented wild cherries. Perhaps that is what they were aiming for, "Dress for Success". Wonder if they glow in the dark? Well we still have to see the new "Home" uniform design. Talk about redirecting the debate, we can set aside our competitive ardor while exercising our keen sense of fashion. Go Bruins!

The white uniforms looked like they should have been at a wedding! I am for tradition...Powder blue jerseys with gold pants. It was bad enough to be "beaten to a pulp" but to look like we had taken a bath in clorox was also horrific.

Sure the Surrender White uniforms looked good, but they are NOT UCLA and we should not accept such gimmicks. We are the Bruins and we have a worthy tradition. We should be proud to uphold our traditions and not resort to silly distractions in search of some other identity or to hide from our past. We have nothing to hide from. We are not Oregon – let them play silly games without any sense of identity.
When Guerrero let Adidas put those pathetic “CrapTech” uniforms on our players, I thought it could not get any worse and then he rolls out the Surrender White uniforms. What will he do next to defile UCLA?
