Painting the town (blue) (*updated)
The UCLA football team is participating in a team function today in lieu of practice, and apparently the team-building exercise is a paintballing trip. This is similar to the team's bowl preparation for the EagleBank Bowl in 2009, when the team went to Magic Mountain.
Practice will resume tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m.
If we were preparing for a real bowl I'd be a little critical of this -- dudes can get hurt playing paintball. But since it's the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, ehh.. have fun :P
Can't you just see it - Prince is out there taking out squirels, bird's nest, and the occasional low-flying California Condor....
I guess the team wasn't allowed to vote, because I'm sure they would prefer going to Grinchmas at Universal Studios.

Shouldn't this be titled painting the town blue?
Statistically speaking paintball is safer than golf. Less injuries nationwide than even golf. Paintball is a great team building exercise. Jon: have you heard where they are playing? Im betting holywood sports park.
