UCLA post-practice report

The only injury I can report was the bee sting to my hand. Mega pain, but I’m OK now.
UCLA coach Jim Mora, who hails from the NFL, is starting to crack down on injury reports and such from practice. You can tell it’s game week, eh?
Asked how Brett Hundley is doing, Mora said “fine.”
Asked if he’s decided which coaches will be in the pressbox and which are on the field, he just said “yes.”
It’s the NFL in him.
Players practiced today since UCLA opens the season Thursday at Rice in Houston. So today was like a Tuesday.
Brett Hundley said he’s not nervous yet, but he’s sure he’ll that fire in him come game time on Thursday.
Videos to come.

I’m wondering if you know the team travel schedule? Do they fly down on Tuesday or Wednesday? If they go on Tuesday do they practice in Houston on Wednesday……..any info would be appreciated.

  • Best wishes

Thanks, Jill, for putting yourself in harm’s/toxin’s way on our behalf.

Thanks for the update Jill. Also, great season previews by you and Miguel in the DN. You might want to post links here as some folks may not be aware of them.

Great work and here here to a fantastic 2012 season!

    Go Bruins!

  • Mr. Media Wants to Know

Monday before the opening game on Thursday afternoon.

No 2012 Media Guide posted on UCLA site. Ccan you ask them if they will have a guide bu Thursday, or will they be handing out last season’s with a buckslip of the 2012 players!!

Speaking of media guides, I still have the 2008 media guide Brian Dohn gave the UBTA at our tailgate. Pretty cool dude. Loved to talk football. Good times.

  • Have you tried actually looking around UCLA’s site, Mr. Media?

It’s been up for a while.
