UCLA was last ranked in 2007, not 2005.

  • Miguel Melendez

Whoops. Got it right on twitter, wrong here. Fixed now.

  • Randor

It’s actually been 4 years; we were briefly ranked #23 in the AP (but not Coaches’) after beating Tennessee in 2008

  • Miguel Melendez

You’re right, Randor. UCLA was No. 23 after beating Tennessee and then dropped the following week. Good looking out.

Can anyone tell me why did Sheldon Price get replaced by Andrew Abbot and Randall Goforth played safety yesterday?

  • Miguel Melendez

Undisclosed reason. I asked Jim Mora and he won’t say. However, Mora said in his post-game conference that Price is fine and will be back at practice next week.

  • BruinRogue

    Hooah.

I was wondering why I didn’t see Price back there. “Undisclosed” reason = disciplinary reasons or academic reasons?

What ever happened to Deitric Riley? & is there any chance Larimore could shake off those concussions & come back to play maybe next year?

  • JonathanJ

Cheap Seats: it could very well be due to a minor injury on Price that Mora didn’t wan to publicly announce as it would have given Nebraska a chance to prep for then exploit the Price’s replacement.
