Report: UCLA withdraws scholarship to Eddie Printz.

Eddie Printz, a highly-touted quarterback out of Atlanta, had his scholarship offer withdrawn from UCLA, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Printz, a three-star recruit out of Lassiter High in nearby Atlanta, has been a long UCLA commit since last January. Printz’s father told the Journal-Constitution: “I feel like a horse kicked me in the stomach. And I feel like I let my son down because I let him commit early. This happens, and I don’t know how I could’ve foreseen it. I believed what Coach Mora was telling us, and now I feel sick in my stomach about it.”

The Journal-Constitution reports that it’s the second time in the last two months that a top Georgia recruit and UCLA parted ways. The Journal-Constitution also spoke with Printz’s high school coach, who said: “This is not how adults should handle business, regardless of whether it’s recruiting or not. If you’re going to build relationships with people, you have to have some level of trust. With [Green], this makes two for UCLA in Georgia. There’s a pattern.” Click on the link I’ve provided above.
