If you have DirecTV, you’ll miss Houston-UCLA

What’s a fella to do when you can’t make the Houston-UCLA game at the Rose Bowl and you don’t want to deal with the bar crowd? Your next viable option is to watch the game at home, but if you’re a DirecTV customer you won’t find the Pac-12 Network anywhere listed. Basically, you’re screwed. Daily News media columnist Tom Hoffarth takes an in-depth look at the standoff between DirecTV and the Pac-12. Personally, I have Time Warner Cable and I couldn’t be happier. One of my favorite features on the Pac-12 Network is “The Pac-12 in 60” where you can watch an entire game in an hour. If you’re a DirectTV customer I don’t know that the Pac-12 Network offers enough for customers to ditch the service and go elsewhere, but I do know that at least this weekend there’s no chance DirectTV customers will watch the UCLA game from the comfort of their home.
