PHOTO: Pauley Pavilion tour | Inside UCLA with Jack Wang

On Tuesday, the media went on a tour of Pauley Pavilion but weren’t allowed to release anything until tonight. Here are some quick shots I took on the walkthrough. For all those interested, John Wooden’s eight-foot statue will be unveiled at 2:30 p.m. Friday.

I was thought that the seating for basketball was going to be brought in right up to the court? Was not that one of the main reason for the renovation? Judging by the picture there is still so much room on the end line and one of the side line.

Ted, the seats are not fully extended in the photo.

I know one of the end line always had bleachers that stretch out. The far end line I know has bleacher that extend out. It was always the end line that was closest to the locker room entrance that had that wide chasm with the ugly brown tarp (band usually used to sit on this end) Now does this side have the extension as well? They were lowering the floor to make this happen was what I remember reading.
