UCLA vs. Oregon: halftime update

UCLA is up 40-37 in a game that has already seen eight lead changes. Shabazz Muhammad didn’t start the game because he was late for Friday’s practice, and was quiet upon checking in. He finally scored his first bucket on an emphatic dunk at 5:14, and erupted UCLA’s final eight points. The Bruins are shooting 55.2 to Oregon’s 37.5, but have given up 10 offensive rebounds to the Ducks already for six second-chance points.

With Dominic Artis guarding Larry Drew II, Kyle Anderson got some run as the primary ballhandler. He ended the half with six points, six rebounds and six assists.
