Who’s next for UCLA’s recruiting class?

UCLA’s recruiting class is ranked No. 6 in the country by Scout.com and No. 9 by Rivals.com, just the second time since 2002 that the school has landed in the top 10 on both lists. Can the Bruins make a push for the top five? Here’s a quick look at some of the top remaining targets.

QB Asiantii Woulard: 6-3, 205 — Rivals: 4*, Scout: 4* — UCLA was a latecomer to Woulard’s recruitment, but the dual-threat quarterback thoroughly enjoyed his visit to Westwood. He will announce on ESPNU next Wednesday, but all signs point to a cross-country trip for the Florida standout. His father had said that Clemson and UCLA were the frontrunners; the Tigers backed off his recruitment recently, with head coach Dabo Swinney cancelling an in-home visit.

DT Eddie Vanderdoes: 6-3, 310 — Rivals: 5*, Scout: 5* — One of the most highly recruited players in the country, Vanderdoes will announce his decision at 5 p.m. on Signing Day at Placer High. UCLA seems to be the slight favorite right now, but Notre Dame and USC are also in the mix. He’s visiting Alabama this weekend as well.

DE Kylie Fitts: 6-4, 260 — Rivals: 4*, Scout: 4* — Fitts was wearing blue at UCLA basketball’s loss to USC and is considered by both Rivals and Scout to be a Bruins lean. He’s on an official to Utah this weekend after visiting Notre Dame last weekend.

A former USC commit like Vanderdoes, Fitts and Kurt Bruich — his coach at Redlands East Valley — were both unhappy with how the Trojans reneged on an offer for early enrollment.

LB Myles Jack: 6-2, 215 — Rivals: 4*, Scout: 4* — Jack was committed to UCLA until Washington hired away assistant coach Marques Tuiasosopo, and six of eight Rivals analysts are now picking the Seattle-area native to go to the Huskies. Still, his recruitment will likely go down to the wire. He told Scout.com that while he enjoyed his visit to Washington, he is still solid on the Bruins. Jack attends Bellevue High with Jim Mora’s son.

LB Isaac Savaiinaea: 6-3, 235 — Rivals: 3*, Scout: 4* — The Hawaii product narrowed his choices down to UCLA and Texas A&M for Signing Day, but his main recruiter Brian Polian bolted the Aggies for the head coaching job at Nevada. Should be a pretty easy decision.

From MaxPreps: “The location is definitely kind of similar to home. Jeff Ulbrich, their linebackers coach, just left the NFL (one year ago). It’s just the person he is. He has that aura about him. His intensity at practice is crazy. Players said he gave them a new love for the game. Jeff is one of a kind and I don’t think any coach can match that.”

OT Christian Morris: 6-6, 293 — Rivals: 4*, Scout: 4* — The Memphis native had said he was “100 percent” committed to UCLA in late December, but continued taking visits. If he doesn’t end up in Los Angeles, the most likely bet is that he stays close to home with Tennessee and newly hired head coach Butch Jones. He is also slated to visit Ole Miss with his mother on Saturday.

LB Cameron Judge 6-2, 215 — Rivals: 3*, Scout: 4* — The Oaks Christian star and All-American committed to the Bruins last summer, but recently took an official visit to Arizona State. Rivals analysts think he stays local, but Scout.com’s Brandon Huffman and Greg Biggins are both predicting a flip to the Sun Devils, who only have one outside linebacker committed right now.
