Jordon James, Eric Kendricks game-time decisions Saturday

UCLA running back Jordon James and linebacker Eric Kendricks are both game-time decisions against Colorado this Saturday, head coach Jim Mora said.

James has missed three full games since spraining his ankle in a 34-27 win at Utah on Oct. 3. The junior entered that game as the nation’s fifth-leading rusher.

Kendricks, who leads the team with 65 tackles, needed an anesthetic shot to play through a back bruise at Oregon last week. He left that game with a mild shoulder sprain, and also has a sore ankle.

Left tackle Simon Goines (knee) and backup Conor McDermott (shoulder) are not expected to play. Running back Steve Manfro is in a boot after spraining his ankle against the Ducks, and did not practice all week.

If there is a game to rest and get healthy, a home game against the Buffs is probably the one to do it. I’d rather have these guys rest up this weekend and be ready to go at Arizona next Saturday. Go Bruins!

+1. Suit up but only use them if things get tight–which would be shocking against the Snuffaloes. Arizona on the road, in my opinion, will be our toughest remaining game as it’s in Tuscon, where we haven’t won since 2003 (yeah, we’ve dropped 4 in a row at Arizona Stadium).
