UCLA selects architect for football facility

UCLA has selected ZGF Architects to design its new football facility west of Spaulding Field. The firm completed work on parts of Oregon’s athletic facilities, and have also designed many buildings on UC campuses.

“In selecting ZGF, we have chosen one of the preeminent design firms in the nation to help us realize our vision for the new football facility,” athletic director Dan Guerrero said in a statement. “ZGF’s body of work speaks for itself, and UCLA Athletics is excited to team up with them to create what we both feel will be one of the finest facilities in the country.”

The new facility was budgeted at $50 million.
