UCLA brings Victory Bell back to Pauley Pavilion

UCLA pulled the Victory Bell back into Pauley Pavilion for the second year in a row, ringing it at halftime of the Bruins’ game against UC Santa Barbara. Linebacker Jordan Zumwalt was charged with leading an eight-clap, which he closed with a, um, message for USC.

Did Jordan just drop a “F_ck $c” at the end of the 8-clap. WOW!

Oof. I hate SC as much as the next guy but that doesn’t look good.

It’s not suppose to look good, it’s suppose to sound great. He is just saying what we’re all thinking; it’s a public service really.

I’ve always loved that UCLA fans and players had more class than usc fans and players. It’s always made me feel like we were the good guys. I want it to stay that way.

Perhaps he meant to say “funky” SC As, you know, near downtown and all those converted warehouses-to-art-studios…? Maybe not.

I don’t support disparaging the rival. Just win.

Ah, come on, the young guy is thrust in front of several thousand, and wants to make a splash. What is an F-bomb or two in this day and age.

Besides, one of SC’s songs, the one they finish a game with, has the wonderful lyrics of “U..C..L..A. sucks.”

Maybe not quite an F-bomb, but kind of uncultural I would think
