UCLA wearing black ‘L.A. Midnight’ alternates

UCLA is breaking out its black “L.A. Midnight” alternates for the Sun Bowl, which likely makes most of the Bruins very happy.

A couple of pieces for pre-game reading:
— Two former Bruins have fond memories of the 2005 Sun Bowl.
— Jill Painter’s column on UCLA’s good behavior in El Paso.

Those are horrible. I’m nervous. We might LOSE. Even though VT is a nobody and we have all of our weapons, wearing clown outfits makes me think we aren’t serious enough for this game. Oh My.

I agree with you on this, the uniforms are awful. Want to build a brand? Don’t wear all black uniforms, more than half the schools in the Pac-12 have such an alternate uniform (as do dozens of schools around the country). Maybe wear powder blue and gold, that is very distinctive from a brand standpoint. Not to mention, it looks much better.
