Bellevue standout Budda Baker decommits from Oregon

Four-star safety Budda Baker has decommitted from Oregon, opening up the possibility that UCLA adds another defensive back to its 2014 class.

Baker had Washington and the Bruins as his two other finalists before announcing for the Ducks last month. He played with UCLA linebacker Myles Jack at Bellevue High, and actually helped Jack with his pass coverage last summer.

The Bruins return all four starters in the secondary, and have three defensive backs committed with less than three weeks left until signing day. None, however, are rated as highly as Baker — who is Scout.com’s fifth-best safety nationally and Rivals.com’s seventh-best.

Three-star safety Ron Robinson is already signed, while four-star cornerback Adarius Pickett plans to enroll early. Four-star cornerback Jaleel Wadood, a two-way star at St. John Bosco, could potentially move to receiver.
