Kyle Anderson named Pac-12 Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player

Kyle Anderson scored was named the Pac-12 Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, beating out Pac-12 Player of the Year Nick Johnson.

“He won (that) award,” Anderson said. “He deserves it. I wasn’t really too depressed about it. My dad told me, if you want to win the MVP, you gotta go out and win the tournament. Credit to him. He deserved it.”

The sophomore had 21 points, a season-high 15 rebounds and five assists.

The rest of the all-tournament team consisted of: Johnson, Arizona’s Aaron Gordon, Colorado’s Askia Booker, Oregon’s Joseph Young and Stanford’s Chasson Randle.
