Coach: Mike London is 18-31 through four seasons in Charlottesville, and has taken the Cavaliers to just one bowl game: a 43-24 blowout by Auburn in the 2011 Chick-fil-A Bowl. Scouting report: Virginia ranked 110th in the country in scoring offense last season, and will break in a new starting quarterback in redshirt sophomore Greyson Lambert. Tight end Jake McGee, who led the team with 395 receiving yards last year, transferred to Florida. … Running back Kevin Parks was the ACC’s second-leading rusher in 2013, though Boston College’s Andre Williams had more than twice as many yards (2177). … Defense returns nine starters, including second-team All-American safety Anthony Harris. The Cavaliers ranked 66th nationally in yards allowed per game (403.6), but 112th in opponent red-zone conversion (89.13%).
