After initially committing to UCLA almost two weeks ago, receiver Ryan Newsome flipped to Texas on Wednesday.

Newsome is the second receiver UCLA has lost on signing day, taking a little bit of air out of what has otherwise been a huge morning for the Bruins — one that has included the commitments of No. 1 tight end Chris Clark and No. 1 running back Soso Jamabo. Four-star prospect L.J. Reed will be attending a junior college instead of UCLA.
