Four-star linebacker Krys Barnes committed to UCLA today, becoming the fourth player to join the Bruins’ 2016 class and the second at his position.
The soon-to-be senior at Liberty High in Bakersfield is rated the No. 12 inside linebacker in the country by Rivals.com and the No. 8 middle linebacker by Scout.com. The former also has him as a top-40 recruit at any position in California. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker had 130 tackles, five forced fumbles and an interception as a junior.
The rest of the Bruins’ current recruiting class consists of five-star linebacker Breland Brandt, four-star receiver/defensive back Michael Pittman, and longsnapper Johnny Den Bleyker.
