Four-star athlete Michael Pittman decommits from UCLA

Four-star athlete Michael Pittman decommitted from UCLA on Wednesday, eight months after he initially joined the Bruins’ 2016 class.

Pittman was the first recruit to verbally commit to UCLA in the current recruiting cycle. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound prospect could play either safety or receiver in college.

The Oaks Christian standout is the son of former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Michael Pittman. His announcement to decommit from UCLA came about an hour after the Bruins landed four-star recruit Dymond Lee.
