No felony charges for Diddy after alleged kettlebell fight at UCLA

Sean “Diddy” Combs will not face felony charges after his alleged kettlebell fight at UCLA last Monday.

The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office declined to pursue the case today, instead referring to the Los Angeles city district attorney. The latter will decide whether or not to file misdemeanor charges against the 45-year-old hip hop mogul.

Diddy, the father of Bruin cornerback Justin Combs, allegedly attacked UCLA strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi last week and swung a kettlebell at an intern. UCPD then arrested him on three counts of assault, as well single counts of making threats and battery.

A spokesperson for Diddy claimed that he acted in self-defense.
