Three-star athlete Marquis Lawson announced his commitment to UCLA on Thursday morning, three months after he first received his offer from the Bruins.
The 5-foot-9 prospect currently plays both ways for Crenshaw High, which also produced current UCLA sophomore receiver Mossi Johnson. Given how often the the Bruins’ coaching staff moves players around the field, Lawson’s eventual position may not be settled for another year.
He is the 17th verbal commitment in UCLA’s 2016 class.
I would like to thank my Coach and my Parents to help me make my decision but I have officially committed to UCLA! pic.twitter.com/wxga83dteA
