UCLA got a commitment from cornerback Chris Gaston on Friday night, securing a local defensive back that’s flown under the radar.
Playing at Bishop Amat in La Puente, Gaston is ranked as a two-star recruit by Rivals. He returned an interception for a touchdown in the team’s season-opening loss to Mater Dei.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound corner also had an offer from Idaho.
