The UCLA beach volleyball team beat Pepperdine 3-2 and Hawai’i 3-0 on Saturday to advance within one match of the championship match at the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships.
The No. 4 Bruins will play No. 1 Florida State on Sunday at 8:30 a.m., with the winner moving on to the championship match against USC at 11 a.m. The title match will be televised on TBS.
The Bruins needed a comeback against Pepperdine to win as UCLA recovered from a 2-1 deficit. Reily Buechler and Julie Consani claimed the clinching point for UCLA, winning 21-19, 15-21, 15-12:
