  • ESPN ranks the top 10 players UCLA has on its depth chart. No surprise that Josh Rosen is the first choice. Other players include Eddie Vanderdoes, Jaleel Wadood and Jayon Brown.
  • From May 9, NFL.com’s college football staff ranks the top 100 college players for the 2016 season. Rosen makes it into the top 10, with the comment from Chad Reuter reading in part: “Rosen is the best freshman quarterback I’ve seen since Andrew Luck.” Other UCLA names on the list: Conor McDermott (No. 57), Vanderdoes (No. 66) and Fabian Moreau (No. 76).
  • ESPN’s Pac-12 blog puts UCLA’s offensive line in the “we’ll see” category in its Pac-12 South post-spring postions preview. ESPN has USC and Arizona as the only Pac-12 South teams in “good shape” in the offensive line position.
  • Receiver Cordell Broadus is part of a new youth group initiative that had an event to help the homeless last weekend.
  • Make what you wish of this tweet from Tate Martell, the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the 2017 class who recently decommitted from Texas A&M.
