A stroke-play title and a trip to the national semifinals. Just didn’t have the luck this afternoon. #GoBruins pic.twitter.com/wXL3iko989

The UCLA women’s golf team lost in the national semifinals on Tuesday, ending its season with a 3-1-1 defeat to Washington.
The Bruins went into match play as the No. 1 seed, but lost a close match to the fourth-seeded Huskies when UW’s Sarah Rhee clinched the match in a playoff against UCLA’s Louise Ridderström.
UCLA junior Bronte Law was named PING WGCA Player of the Year Tuesday and won the Bruins’ only point of the match, edging UW’s Charlotte Thomas by one hole.
