Above is an updated version of this graph from two days ago about the progression of true freshman quarterbacks through their careers. I’ve added team win/loss records in the information at the bottom for each player and junior year stats when possible. Miami’s Brad Kaaya is entering his junior year this season.
There was a lot of discussion about Matt Stafford, but I chose to leave him out because he started only eight games in his true freshman year as opposed to the at least 12 for these four particular quarterbacks. Stafford was 6-2 as a true freshman starter in 2006 and Georgia went 9-4 overall that year.
