Four-star tight end Jimmy Jaggers commits to UCLA

UCLA picked up a third commit in as many days as four-star tight end/defensive end Jimmy Jaggers announced his commitment on Twitter on Thursday.

Jaggers had a slew of offers from other schools, including USC, Alabama, Arizona and Texas A&M. According to 247Sports, he is the No. 8 tight end in the country and 29th-best prospect in California.

After a lackluster summer in recruiting during which many recruits withdrew their commitments to UCLA, the Bruins have doubled their 2017 class in just three days. Jaggers, from Roseville High in the Sacramento area, is UCLA’s sixth commit for the class of 2017. Three-star defensive backs Chris Wilson and Jaylan Shaw committed earlier in the week, joining five-star weakside defensive end Jaelan Phillips, three-star offensive lineman Kanan Ray and JUCO offensive lineman Ronald Rudd III as UCLA commits.
