The No. 9 UCLA men’s soccer team scored a blowout victory over No. 1 Akron on Monday, scoring three goals in 32 seconds in the second half en route to a 6-1 win.
Jackson Yueill tied a school record with four assists. The Bruins (2-1-1) set an NCAA record for fastest three consecutive goals by the same team. The previous record was 43 seconds. Abu Danladi bagged a brace for UCLA, scoring twice in the 53rd minute off assists from Yueill.
Akron had a difficult weekend in California as the Zips lost 1-0 to San Diego on Sept. 2 before falling to the Bruins on Monday.
