Two games has done little to answer one of UCLA’s most pressing questions: Who will be the go-to receiver?

The Bruins are waiting for that guy to emerge. Josh Rosen wants someone he can count on to convert on third down, but the quarterback will wait patiently for his new Jordan Payton to show himself.

Drops have plagued the receivers through two games, which surely doesn’t help the group. Eldridge Massington said it’s just a matter of “being a nerd” and watching the ball all the way into their hands.

More on the receivers in today’s notebook, which also includes injury notes.
