Manu, Marques Tuiasosopo finalists for Polynesian Football Hall of Fame

Current UCLA quarterbacks coach Marques Tuiasosopo and his father, former UCLA defensive lineman Manu Tuiasosopo are finalists for the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017. Of the 18 finalists, which were announced Tuesday by the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame, six will be selected for the Class of 2017 in October and inducted into the Hall of Fame in January.

Marques was a Rose Bowl-winning quarterback at Washington before playing for eight years in the NFL. He is now in his first year as UCLA’s quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator.

Manu was an all-conference defensive lineman at UCLA in the 1970s before an eight-year professional career.
