2019 WR Kam Brown commits to UCLA

Receiver Kam Brown announced his commitment to UCLA on Monday, joining St. John Bosco cornerback Chris Steele in UCLA’s 2019 recruiting class.

The 6-foot, 164-pound Brown is the son of Super Bowl XXX MVP Larry Brown. Ranked a four-star recruit by Scout and Rivals, Brown told USA Today that he had 30 offers by his sophomore year. His top 12 included notable schools like Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Nebraska, Penn State and Texas. He was also considering his father’s alma mater TCU.

As a sophomore at Colleyville Heritage High in Texas, he 1,160 all-purpose yards and 14 total touchdowns.
