It’s a new era for UCLA athletics.

The school’s record-setting 15-year, $280 million apparel deal with Under Armour officially started at the stroke of midnight on July 1 and the UCLA Store immediately began rolling out new apparel.

Relying on the UCLA stripe as a central design theme, the new Under Armour line intends to “introduce a cohesive new branding initiative that will unite not only our teams, but also the entire UCLA family,” athletic director Dan Guererro said in a statement.

Under Armour, which replaced Adidas as UCLA’s official apparel partner, intends to incorporate the UCLA football shoulder stripe into uniforms across all sports. Each uniform will also feature the athletic department’s motto “Champions Made Here,” written into a logo that pays homage to John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success.

All teams will follow a streamlined color palette with Powderkeg Blue and Westwood Gold as the primary colors.

The football jerseys will be released on July 15 at an exclusive event for season ticket holders at the Rose Bowl.
