Training camp half-way point Q&A

Greetings, friends! UCLA has 18 official camp practices and Thursday will be the half-way point. I’ve seen plenty of questions floating around so I want to take this time to try to answer some of them all together. Leave your question in the comment section (or drop me an email at thnguyen(at)scng(dot)com if that’s more your style) and I’ll post answers Friday before that night’s 6:45 p.m. practice.

To any new readers: Welcome! And if you’re wondering, my first name is actually Thuc Nhi and it’s pronounced “Too-k Knee.”

Also, here’s a link to an interesting Bleacher Report Q&A with Josh Rosen. Rosen talks about the difficulty of mixing football and school, his goals for the NFL and beyond, and how much he missed the game during his injury, among other things.

UCLA will have its Fan Appreciation Day during Saturday’s practice. Fans are invited to watch practice from Lot 8, where there will be games, photo opportunities and prizes during practice. Season-ticket holders will be able to watch from the Luskin Conference Center Terrace with free hot dogs, chips, and drinks. Unlike in years past, players will not be available for photos or autographs after practice.
