Guard Jules Bernard commits to UCLA

Four-star guard Jules Bernard announced his commitment to UCLA on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-6, 190-pound shooting guard from Windward chose UCLA over Kansas, Oregon, USC and Miami (Fla.). He is the No. 1 shooting guard in California, according to Scout.com.

“I am excited and honored to continue my education and growth as a basketball player in my hometown at UCLA,” Bernard said in a statement released by Windward.

He averaged 25 points and 12 rebounds per game as a junior at Windward and is the latest is several Compton Magic players to come to UCLA. He follows fellow Compton Magic products TJ Leaf, Ike Anigbogu, Jaylen Hands and Jalen Hill.
