Too laid back Josh. I hope he has more fire in the belly than he is showing. He did notice that AZ was playing ‘angry.’ That could be a clue for our team.

Josh keeps getting back up of his as# and playing. He has plenty of fire. Now about our defense…..

      • keptycho

The defense will play better when the offense plays better. Getting back up and playing? I think we need more than that. I think we will see Rosen playing with more emotion this week.

This is patently absurd, my friend. The D will play better if the O plays better??????????
What happened to the D in games when the O played lights out ???????????????????

JR can’t pass for 450 yds 0 INTs every single game. He’s entitled to a sub par game once a year, notwithstanding the fact our passing O is still best in the country even after the AZ game.

We would have won this game even w/ JR’s subpar performance if the D didn’t “perform” like the worst D in the country, which it is.

You are patently absurd, friend. If the O keeps putting the D on its heels thru turnovers or 3 and outs, of course they are going to tire and not play as well. That is not absurd, that’s called rational thinking, friend.

            As I said :

“What happened to the D in games when the O played lights out ???????????????????”

Are we to forget everything that has occurred before the AZ game?

Doesn’t matter if the opposing team starts their drive in our territory or at their own 10 yard line, EVEN at the very beginning of the game. Our D will allow them to score.

Bruins win in JR’s worst game of his life if the D was anything but the last in 4 major D categories.

Is JR also to blame for the fact that the D has NO turnovers and ZERO sacks ???

          • keptycho

As I said, I think our D will be motivated to play much better tomorrow because they have played so poorly. JR is a talented QB but he is far from perfect. However, I think he will rebound and have a good game tomorrow.

For our team maybe but the last thing u want is your QB playing angry or any other way than cool, calm and collected.

By his own admission, Josh admitted he played very poorly against AZ (obviously). He wasn’t sure why. Could be the AZ pressure had something to do with it. Could be his focus and intensity was not there. IMO it was more the latter. He played poorly because he lacked confidence. During the game, that’s on him. He has to prepare better to give it all on the field -> Fire in the belly.

          Exactly.
Josh Rosen needs to play with winning adrenaline every week.
          Winning adrenaline……..
