Devon Modster is not Josh Rosen, but Jedd Fisch isn’t making any special exceptions for the redshirt freshman if he gets his first career start this Friday at Utah.
When asked if he might change his play-calling tactics in the event Modster starts for the injured Rosen, Fisch said, “I don’t expect to do that at all.”
Modster took the first reps during practice this week. The quiet Tesoro High grad has the full confidence of his teammates if he gets the call this weekend.
“We know Devon can make all the throws,” center Scott Quesseberry said. “We see it out here all the time.”
