The biggest thing UCLA wants for Christmas in the desert is one final victory. Its best chance to get that win would be if Josh Rosen plays against Kansas State on Tuesday.
However, with the star quarterback still working through concussion protocol, the final decision will be out of his hands.
“If they give me the green light then full steam ahead and I’m preparing as if I am (playing),” Rosen said Saturday at Cactus Bowl Media Day. “I really hope I’m out there. I want to be out there.”
He continues take snaps in practice. The Bruins practiced Saturday afternoon with a walk-through Sunday. They’ll have another Monday and then one more before Tuesday’s game at 6 p.m. PT.
Catching up on a few links:
- Rosen claimed a new UCLA record this week without even playing
- UCLA’s young defensive linemen are learning that in college it’s more about technique than it is about talent.
- Jordan Lasley will try to tie an NCAA record on Tuesday
- Jacob Tuioti-Mariner accepted an invitation to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, where Jaleel Wadood will also play next month
