2 STRAIGHT 1,000-YARD RUSHING SEASONS FOR PAUL PERKINS
A year after leading the conference in rushing, Paul Perkins followed it up with another 1,000-yard season for the Bruins in 2015. He claimed the Pac-12 rushing title with 1,575 yards and had 1,343 yards last year.

An anonymous Pac-12 coach told Athlon Sports he thinks UCLA “is the team to beat in the South.”
Athlon Sports continued its series of conference previews based on anonymous coach comments with the Pac-12 on Wednesday. Judging from the quotes, Pac-12 coaches are pretty high on UCLA. One believes Josh Rosen is “the best (quarterback) in the country right now,” and that he’ll be “a big-time pro.” Another is impressed with UCLA’s defensive talent, especially after injuries hurt the team last year.
