Grant given to Upland organization for Pomona school

A $707,500 grant will be awarded to Upland-based California Community Development Coalition, Inc. and Marshall Middle School in Pomona on Monday Dec. 22.

The federally funded grant will go toward after school programs for the students at Marshall.

The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. is organized by MHM and Associates Enterprise, Inc. - a grant writing firm that wrote the grant proposal.

The ceremony will take place at the MHM offices located at 525 Technology Court Suite 101 Riverside, CA.

Members of the California Community Development Coalition, Inc., Pomona Unified School District and Marshal Middle School will be in attendance.
