Letters to Santa: Bixby
Helping Out Pets Everyday is an Upland based non-profit organization that rescues animals. Some of the cats, currently living at PetSmart, are looking for a loving home this Christmas and wrote letters to Santa asking to be adopted.

Dear Santa,
My name is Bixby. I was rescued by HOPE from the local shelter after my owners decided they didn't want me any longer.
Honest, Santa, I wasn't naughty. In fact, I think I was pretty darn nice. I have no idea why they felt they needed to give me away but to tell you the truth I was pretty scared until HOPE came and got me. Santa, they are just the nicest people. Two times a day, every day, someone from HOPE comes and cleans my litter box and plays with me. I even get brushed. I mean, I really like it here, but it would be great to get a real home. I would love to sit on a big, comfortable bed or even a sofa and cuddle up with someone special. I'm hoping one of the HOPE volunteers decide to adopt me, but they have told me they have adopted some of the others that were homeless like me, so I'm turning to you, Santa. My wish is for a new home.
