Letters to Santa: Emerson
Helping Out Pets Everyday is an Upland based non-profit organization that rescues animals. Some of the cats, currently living at PetSmart, are looking for a loving home this Christmas and wrote letters to Santa asking to be adopted.

Dear Santa,
My name is Emerson. Last year at this time, I had a REAL home. A bunch of unusual circumstances has caused my present homelessness. I've been around the block a few times, so I'm trying to accept my present living arrangements, but as you can see, I'm quite depressed not being with my family.
A couple of years ago, HOPE rescued me from a local shelter. I remember I was as scared as can be. See, I'm a declawed guy, and I was defenseless. I was happy to be sheltered but my best friends never came for me. HOPE placed me with a great family but it was such a busy home. There were days I just couldn't get past all the activity to get to the one litter box I shared with my other friend that lived there so I had a few accidents.
My family thought it would be best to find another, quieter home for me. So, HOPE took me back. My Christmas wish this year is to find a home once again so that I can live out my life.
Love,
Emerson
P.S. I miss my family a lot.

Emerson is a neutered and declawed black/white
domestic long haired male approximately 10 years old.
